[Tools & Resources]
Last week, CIL was joined by over 15 participants for our first Ask Me Anything styled webinar—a webinar series we’ve launched where attendees can “ask us anything” regarding real estate related topics. To kickstart the series, we invited our network to bring us their questions pertaining to housing, and they did not disappoint! It was a great discussion, and attendees asked questions like, “What does it take to develop housing models/options for those with disabilities?” “How do you find/buy land to build a community?” “Do you work with groups to find land?” “What are the pros/cons of getting funding from the state/publicly vs. privately?” “Has CIL done private supported housing models?” and “Is CIL familiar with housing vouchers and how do those work under CIL’s model?”
Vice President of Real Estate Development Chris Canna fielded each question and was able to provide attendees with insightful information for their future projects and goals. We were even able to help connect family members with others that have shared goals of housing for their adult children.
