ABOUT THE GUEST SPEAKER
Dr. Julie Eshleman (she/her) is a disability research consultant specializing in assistive technology and inclusive design. With a PhD in Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Stirling, she focuses on using technology to enhance independence and accessibility for disabled people.
Dr. Eshleman has led assistive technology initiatives in the UK, analyzed technology implementation in care homes, and presented at the United Nations in Vienna and UK Parliament. As a disabled person, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work, empowering organizations to create inclusive environments.
