[Tools & Resources]
We got to sit down (virtually, of course) with CIL’s newest Real Estate Developer, Rob Madden, to get to know him a bit. From his favorite things to do in the summer, to what he’s looking forward to most with working at CIL, read on below to find out more:
Tell me a little about your career background.
I’ve spent the last few years of my career in banking, real estate development, and property management. Specifically, I spent 3.5 years of my career in real estate development with a firm that acquired nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities and transformed them into substance use disorder treatment facilities. I really found a passion in providing a need for a population who is often overlooked, which aligned well in finding CIL and their overall mission of building communities.
What are you most looking forward to when working at CIL?
I love seeing the concept of a project come to fruition and see the impact the final product makes on an individual’s life, so that’s definitely what I’m looking forward to most!
How would you describe yourself in three words?
In just three words, I’d say: determined, personable, and driven.
What are some favorite or unique hobbies you enjoy?
I love to travel. I’ve been to Asia, Europe, and South America. My next trip is to Hawaii next year, I’m really looking forward to that!
What would you say are the keys to success?
I’d have to say the keys to success are consistency, communication, and execution.
What are your favorite things to do in the summer?
I just recently moved back to Boston, so it’s been a lot of fun getting to see family more often, going to the beach, going out on friend’s boats, and trying new restaurants. I am also by no means a golfer, but I recently got a new set of golf clubs I’m looking to break in.
We’re very excited to welcome Rob to Team CIL and look forward to seeing his impact on the communities we serve.
